Terms of Service
Last updated: November 2, 2026
1. The service
HackerAI Chat ("this site", "the service") is a free, account-free web interface for sending prompts to AI models through the HackerAI API (api.hackerai.sh) using an API key that you provide. This site does not sell, host, or operate the AI models themselves.
2. What we provide — and what we do not
This site only provides access to third-party AI models. We do not control, review, endorse, or take responsibility for the prompts you send, the outputs the models produce, or any activity performed with or through the service. You use the service entirely at your own risk and are solely responsible for everything you do with it.
3. Your API key and account
You are responsible for the API key you connect, for any usage charged against it, and for keeping it secure. This site stores your key only in the memory of your browser tab and never persists it. Do not enter a key you are not authorized to use.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service for any unlawful purpose, and not to generate, request, or distribute content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or violates the upstream provider's terms. Attempting to overload, bypass the rate limits of, or abuse this site or the upstream API is prohibited.
5. No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. AI outputs may be wrong, incomplete, or offensive; verify anything important before relying on it.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, this site's operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service, including any activity performed with your API key, any outputs produced by the models, any data loss (including chats cleared on refresh, which is by design), or any charges incurred against your key.
7. Third-party terms
Your use of the underlying models and API is governed by HackerAI's own terms, pricing, and policies. This site can suspend or rate-limit access to protect the service, and the upstream provider may reject, throttle, or bill usage at any time.
8. Changes
These terms may change as the service evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
